Wiser’s 22 year old Cask Strength Port Cask-Finished

Very aromatic with fruit leather red fruit mild caramel hints of oak and slight nose prickle. A lush sweet fruity palate restrained by peach pits earthy tones and mild oakiness develops hints of spent shotgun shells that could sometimes be found in very old sherried malts. A pleasing glow turns hot and peppery before gradually fading into unusually enjoyable rich red grape skins. Long complex and well-balanced.
