Hints of lime new oak and new leather on the nose as well as licorice candy. Well-textured—soft and fairly smooth—on the palate but with only faint notes of toffee praline pineapple and orange slices all struggling to emerge. There is also an overarching youthful overtone of new wood. In general the whiskey seems thin and lacking any great depth or vibrant flavors.
