A shy nose that tends toward doughy aromas: saffron buns with lightly sprinkled spices coconut-flaked vanilla macaroons Nilla wafers and rice pudding plus chalky candy cigarettes and talcum powder. Graham cracker Luden’s cherry cough drop candied orange peel and vanilla on the palate; the flavors are nice if simple. Chocolate-cherry cordial cinnamon and toasted almonds to finish. An uncomplicated pour.
